At the same time, recognition and action by worldwide organizations like the WHO, Lancet Commission, the OECD with its nascent Brain Health Diplomacy Workgroup, and the Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative, are testament that the accelerating progression of Alzheimer’s Disease is also an insidious pandemic with profound global, economic, and societal implications.
